HR Manager (3–10 years experience) Location: Bellandur, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru (Work from Office only) Organization Size: 25 members across functions, and growing Reports to: Founder
We’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and empathetic HR Manager to join us as the first full-time HR leader at our fast-growing startup. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll shape our people processes from the ground up and directly influence company culture and growth.
What You'll Do
50% of the role would be recruitment, and 50% would be related to People Operations & Culture. You will be our first full-time hire in the HR function.
People Operations :Own the entire employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance, exits Manage HR systems, documentation, compliance, and payroll coordination Design and implement efficient policies across leave, attendance, and working norms
Recruitment & Employer Branding :Own the full hiring funnel: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing Partner with founder and hiring managers to define JDs, scorecards, and interview plans Build strong pipelines for business, tech, and ops roles using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and outreach Help craft and promote employer brand on platforms like LinkedIn Ensure candidates have a great experience — prompt communication and strong follow-up
Culture & Engagement :Design and drive initiatives to keep our culture collaborative, fun, and high-performing Be the go-to person for team grievances, feedback, and day-to-day HR matters Plan team offsites, celebrations, and rituals to foster team spirit
Strategy & Scale : Work closely with founders and functional leads to align HR with business goals Help structure org design, career pathways, and performance frameworks as we grow Ensure compliance with labor laws and evolving HR best practices
What We're Looking For
3 to 10 years of hands-on HR experience across sub-functions, ideally in a startup or fast-moving environment Atleast 3 years of recruitment experience with proven ability to hire across different roles and levels Comfort working independently and wearing multiple hats Strong interpersonal skills — you're approachable, organized, and solutions-focused A track record of building and improving HR systems, not just maintaining them Someone who balances empathy with a no-nonsense approach to execution Ability to work with employees across age groups and functions
